Man nabbed for stabbing live-in-partner, friend in QC
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) operatives arrested a man for frustrated homicide after he stabbed his live-in partner and a friend in Barangay Batasan Hills, in the city on Monday, May 1.
Lt. Col. Morgan Aguilar, QCPD Batasan Station (PS 6) commander, identified the suspect as Julio Ordinario Navarro, 34.
According to the police report, one of the victims, Nino Francis Delos Angeles, went to Navarro’s house who was celebrating his birthday in Barangay Batasan Hills at around 8 p.m. pm Monday, where they had a drinking spree.
Police said that during the celebration, Navarro allegedly got jealous when he noticed that Delos Angeles and his live-in-partner, Jenalyn Maja Gaan, were seemingly too close to each other.
Navarro got angry, took out a 12-inch kitchen knife and stabbed the two victims in their bodies.

He rushed the victims to a hospital, where the guard on duty reported the incident to the PS 6. Responding operatives went to the hospital and arrested Navarro at around 12:02 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2. They recovered the kitchen knife used by the suspect in the stabbing. Navarro will be charged for frustrated homicide and will be referred to the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, police said.
