The Lagusnilad vehicular underpass in Manila will be partially closed starting May 2, 2023, until September 2023, for rehabilitation.
Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project on Tuesday morning, May 2.
Of course, as time passed, there have been numerous complaints about flooding and potholes encountered by passing motorists in Lagusnilad),” she said.
The truth is Lagusnilad is under the national government... However, because it is situated in the City of Manila, we will be the ones to find a way to repair this historic Lagusnilad once and for all),” the mayor added.
Motorists and commuters are advised to use alternative routes during this period.
Here are the following alternative routes:
* slight right to Padre Burgos Avenue
* turn right to Round Table
* cross Padre Burgos Avenue to Maria Orosa Street
* turn left to Kalaw Avenue
* turn right to Taft Avenue
* to point of destination
