Singer Gigi de Lana slammed online users who are only too eager to share their two cents on why she developed throat nodules. She said: "Yung may pinagdadaanan ka sa boses mo. Dami pa nag assume at nag judge kung bakit ako nag ka sakit sa throat. dahil puro sigaw daw ako? Haha kaawa kayo, mga walang alam,  basta maka comment." "Malamang kakayod ako para sa nanay ko na may cancer. Ako lang anak niya eh. Sino kakayod?" Fans were quick to comfort Gigi. Most of them wished for her fast recovery.
