Alden Richards-Bea Alonzo movie postponed

"A Moment To Remember," the much awaited movie team-up of Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo, has been postponed.

According to a statement posted by GMA on social media, this is due to "scheduling conflicts within the production team."

Not long after, reports emerged that the whole thing was called off with Bea backing out of the project.

This was confirmed by Boy Abunda on Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

According to Boy, Bea is not able to push through with the project due to her "full" schedule.

He added the actress did not want to keep the cast waiting.

"Ms. Bea Alonzo has contractual obligations with GMA Network to fulfill, and that shall remain as our top priority," read a statement from Bea's management.

Boy added that Bea welcomes the idea of another actress taking on her role.

Speculations about Bea and Alden not being in good terms arose after they worked together on "Start Up PH."

"A Moment To Remember," a joint production involving GMA Pictures, Viva Films, and APT Entertainment, is an adaptation of the 2004 South Korean film of the same title staring Jung Woo-sung and Son Ye-jin.
