Pasay LGU distributes aid to fire victims

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano led the distribution of assistance to 21 families whose homes were razed by a fire last May 16. According to Rubiano, the fire victims are currently staying at the evacuation site located in Barangay 172, Pasay City. They were given grocery packs, folding beds, hygiene kits, and blankets. She said the fire occurred at around 5 p.m. at 157 P. Santos St., Barangay 172 Malibay, Pasay City while the feast of San Juan Nepomuceno was being celebrated. The mayor said no one was reported injured and the damage caused by the fire was placed at P200,000. Rubiano said the fire was put under control at around 5:00 p.m.
