Maja Salvador is excited to host a game show for the first time. This is after a successful showbiz career where she displayed her talent in dancing, singing, and acting. Call her a multi-awarded Thespian or the alluring Queen of the Dance Floor who morphed further into heading her own talent management company. She's definitely the type to delight her fans with roles that will let them see her in a different light.

"I never really saw myself hosting a game show, ever. I surprised myself when I said yes immediately to the offer from APT Productions and TV5. I am very much thankful that they put their trust and faith in me. I have been in show business for 20 years. I know I shouldn't stop discovering what I can still do," Maja said.
She added: The title 'Emojination' made me interested, and I got even more excited when they told me the mechanics of the show. There were butterflies in my stomach."
Maja stressed that she only wants to do "light and easy projects" now because her wedding to her fiance, Rambo Nuñez, is fast approaching.
"Kung gagawa kasi ako ng teleserye or pelikula, tapos drama or action, baka haggard ako sa kasal ko. So masuwerte ako na binigay sa akin itong Emojination," the actress remarked.

(If I do a teleserye or movie, then drama or action, I might look haggard on my wedding day. So I feel lucky that the producer gave me Emojination.)
Maja admitted that she had jitters because famous hosts like Luis Manzano and Kris Aquino made her think that you need to be intelligent in order to be the face of a game show.
"It's good that with Emojination, all that's needed is common sense. You don't need to think a lot. You just need to beat your opponents at the buzzer," she pointed out.
It helps that Maja and Awra have a natural chemistry onscreen, as they are good friends in real life. They first got to know each other when they worked together in "Ang Probinsyano." Awra is proud of the fact that "Ate Maja" takes very good care of her.
"We both love coffee. We also have the same shoe size, so she lets me wear what she doesn't use anymore," Awra said while pointing to the Versace designer heels on her feet.
"I always look forward to taping day because Awra gives off an energy that I really like. She's my vitamin E. I get updates about Gen Z trends and the latest lingo from her, which I could apply to the show. I don't want our age gap to be obvious," Maja said jokingly.
"Emojination" revolves around the use of emojis in three rounds, with two players on each opposing team. The team with the most “Emoticoins” after all the rounds will proceed to the last challenge called, “Match Magaling” where the pairs’ teamwork will be more challenging as they try to get the 5 mystery compound words in 3 minutes. If the players successfully complete this round, they will be given a chance to bring home the jackpot prize worth P50,000.
