Marcos to witness Navy's air missile test in Zambales

\*\*SUBIC, Zambales--\*\*President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will witness the surface-to-air missile firing and capability of the Philippine Navy in San Antonio, Zambales.

Marcos will witness the live-fire demonstration while aboard the BRP Davao Del Sur (LD 602) on Friday, May 19. Through the BRP Antonio Luna, the Philippine Navy will fire a Mistral 3 surface-to-air missile against a mock target. The Philippine Navy will also showcase the capabilities of AW159 anti-submarine warfare naval helicopter, which is equipped with a technology that detects and neutralizes stealthy submarines. It is labeled as the "first-ever anti-air warfare" capability of the Philippine Navy. The event is among the major events to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Philippine Navy.
