Man accused of murder nabbed in Indang, Cavite

CAVITE – A man accused of murder was arrested in the Municipality of Indang on Tuesday, May 16. The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the accused as Ignacio A. Escalante, 66 years old. Escalante, one of Region 4A’s most wanted persons, was collared by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 15 in Naic for murder. The accused is now under the custody of Indang Municipal Police Station (MPS). In a statement, Cavite PPO Director Col. Christopher F. Olazo commended the operatives for the successful manhunt operation. He also said the police will continue to intensify their campaign against wanted persons and ensure that they will face the charges filed against them in court.
