Kim Woo-bin’s ‘Black Knight’ debuts at No. 1 on Netflix top 10; ‘Doctor Cha’ rises to No. 2 


Korean actor Kim Woo-bin’s series “Black Knight” debuted at No. 1 on Netflix’s weekly chart for the most watched shows and films. 

Netflix released its weekly Global Top 10 for the period May 8 to 14, covering the most watched English and non-English films and shows.

Under the non-English TV category, “Black Knight,” released on May 12, is No. 1 with 31.22 million hours viewed. 

The hit Korean drama “Doctor Cha,” starring Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Byung-chul, Myung Se-bin and Min Woo-hyuk, rose to No. 2 from No. 6 last week with 19.78 million hours viewed. It’s now on its third straight week on Netflix’s top 10 list. 

Another Korean drama, “The Good Bad Mother” with Ra Mi-ran and Lee Do-hyun is No. 5 with 12.21 million hours viewed.

Jennifer Lopez’s action thriller “The Mother” debuted on top of the English Films list with 83.71 million hours viewed to become the highest opening weekend for a Netflix film this year.
