Fire victims in Parañaque receive construction materials
A total of 25 lot owners whose houses were destroyed in a fire incident last March 27 received construction materials from the Parañaque city government on Thursday, May 18.
Mayor Eric Olivarez visited the 25 lot owners who were starting to construct their own houses and distributed construction materials like plywood, galvanized iron sheet, and lumber.

Olivarez said the victims are temporarily staying at the Sitio Libjo evacuation site in Barangay Sto. Nino..  The victims were also given hygiene kits, blanket, clothes, sack of ice and financial assistance during the first visit made by Olivarez on March 31.  The mayor assured the victims that the city government will continue to give them assistance until they recover from the incident.  Olivarez said the victims will also be given financial and medical assistance by the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) through the social amelioration program.   He said 25 lot owners or 40 families were affected by the fire incident.
