Two drug pushers nabbed in Batangas buy-bust

BATANGAS CITY – Two drug pushers, one of them a high-value target, were arrested after selling P88,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Balagtas in this city at dawn on Wednesday, May 17. In his report to Calabarzon police director Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces, Batangas police director Police Col. Pedro Soliba identified the suspects as "Mel," 36, a high-value individual and a resident of Barangay Santa Clara, Batangas City, and alias "Balat," 36, driver, and a resident of Barangay Dolores, San Fernando City, Pampanga. Thirteen grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P88,400 were seized by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Batangas City Police Station from the suspects during the buy-bust conducted at 12:25 a.m. The raiding team also confiscated from the suspects a cellular phone and a red sedan. Let us cooperate to rid our society of illegal drugs for the safety of everyone),” said Soliba.
