All individuals visiting or working at the Manila City Hall and its satellite offices will be required to wear a face mask at all times, according to Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna.
The number of cases of COVID continues to increase here in our city, so starting today, we will strictly enforce the wearing of face masks inside your offices and for everyone who comes to Manila City Hall),” she said.
Meanwhile, no new ordinance has been passed by the Manila City Council reimposing the mask mandate in the city.
The City of Manila recorded a total of 125, 684 cases as of May 16, 214 of which were active cases, 123,400 recoveries, and 2,070 deaths.
