Former police chief in Laguna found dead in condo

BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – A former chief of police of San Pedro City, Laguna was found dead in his condominium here on Wednesday morning, May 17. The Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO) identified the victim as  Police Lt. Col. Victor Ben Isidore Aclan. Initial investigation said Police Corporal Japer Aaron Mercado, personal security of Aclan, heard a gunshot from victim's room at about 8:30 a.m. Mercado opened Aclan’s room and discovered the victim with a bullet wound in the body. Biñan police are conducting a follow-up investigation.
