END OF AN ERA: Direk Lauren Dyogi reveals half of PBB house will be demolished

It was a sad day for all the PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) fans, as Direk Lauren Dyogi revealed that the other portion of the popular house would be demolished due to an expired lease.  The network executive revealed the news on May 13, as he posted a video on Instagram showing his followers that a portion of the house interior was torn down.

"This part of the house has lots of good memories and even scary experiences," Direk Lauren wrote in the caption.  Lauren said the lease renewal would be "Impractical," so they decided to let go of half the PBB House.  "After 2 seasons of PDA (Pinoy Dream Academy), it became our House B which had our offices, brainstorm space, pantry, hosts' dressing rooms, mini studio with control room and living quarters, specially during the last two 'lock-in seasons,' " he added.

As he toured the house, Direk Lauren can't help but feel nostalgic as he recalls his moments there.  At the end of his post, he thanked all the people who have contributed to the building's rich history and elevated it to the halls of Pinoy popular culture.
