Villafuerte also added spice to the hearing by asking Zagala and Francisco is the better one - Senator Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada or Senator Jospeh Victor ‘’JV’’ Ejercito.
Estrada and Ejercito are half brothers. Their father is former President Joseph Estrada.
Zagala and Francisco served under President Estrada in his presidential security group.
"Be careful,’’ Estrada advised the two who tried to be diplomatic in their answers.
Zagala said both Estrada and Ejercito are "very good" and they have their own expertise.
The answer of Zagala made Estrada "very happy.’’
Estrada said he could vouch for their (Zagala’s and Francisco’s) "loyalty, competence and integrity’’ as they served under his father.
Ejercito echoed his half-brother’s praise for Zagala and and Francisco.
Before formally announcing the confirmation of the 49 AFP officers, Zubiri thanked the men and women of the AFP for the democratic space and peace Filipinos re enjoying today.
