CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Thirteen police officers from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera were awarded the Philippine National Police-Medalya ng Kasanayan (Efficiency Medal) for their notable accomplishments in the anti-criminality campaign on Monday, May 15, at Masigasig Grandstand here.
Juanita A. Domogen, Professional Regulation Commission-Cordillera director, led the awarding together with Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera chief, and other members of the command group.
Awardees were Police Col. Damian Olsim and Police Lt. Col. Joselito Lamsen of the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO); Police Col. Jefferson Cariaga and Police Lt. Col. Oliver Panabang of the Apayao PPO; Police Col. Francisco Bulwayan Jr. and Police Lt. Col. Reymino Paduyao of the Baguio City Police Office; and Police Col. Froiland Lopez and Police Lt. Col. Ricky Dangioan of the Abra PPO.
They were feted for their successful conduct of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO)Â from April 18 to 23.
On the other hand, Police Major Leonard Danasen of the Baguio CPO; Police Staff Sgt. Jefferson Cadap of the Benguet PPO; Police Corporal Tetchie Assudo of the Kalinga PPO; Police Corporal John Bryan Cong-o of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-15 (RMFB15); and Police Patrolwoman Melody Mamilig of the Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) also received the same medal for passing the Bar examinations last year.
The chief of the Regional Comptrollership Division, Police Col. Ronald Lee Sacyat, received a Certificate of Recognition for being adjudged as the cleanest office of the week from May 8Â to 12.
