The Taguig police arrested a man for forcibly taking a motorcycle from a businessman on May 15 in Taguig.
According to the police, the suspect was identified as Nikkon Tejano, 27, who was arrested along M.L. Quezon Street in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig at about 2:40 a.m.

He is accused of taking a motorcycle and personal belongings of 38-year-old businessman Jayson Saldo, who was also stabbed during the incident and was taken to the Taguig Pateros Hospital for treatment. Tejano was nabbed during a follow-up operation by the Taguig police’s Intelligence Section. Saldo identified Tejano through photos provided by the police. The suspect is facing complaints for violations of the Revised Penal Code for robbery and Republic Act 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016). Southern Police District (SPD) chief Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft praised the swift action by the Taguig police.
