If you still haven't got a realme C55 for your mothers, fret not. Graduations, summer escapes, birthdays and the coming schoolyear are among the best excuses to consider in your wise-spending list.

We're putting a red tag on this new offering in the brand's C-Series line, as  we found out that with all the impressive features of the realme C55, consider yourself lucky to have just paid around 10K.

The squared off build of the realme C55 fits nice and easy in your hand. It is quite big, yes, but we're giving plus points to its flat edges, the matte surface of the back panel which reduces fingerprints, and the weight which is surprisingly light for its size.

With its 6.72-inch display, the largest in its C-Series lineup, the realme C55 is also a cut above the rest with its a 90Hz refresh rate.

It has a small punch-hole for the selfie camera with a software feature that makes it look like the latest iPhone as the Dynamic Island-like part shows a pill-shaped animation to show charging status, steps counter, low battery alerts, among others.

It comes with a 64-megapixel main camera that shoots really well, a 2-MP depth lens, plus an 8-MP selfie camera. It is powered by a Mediatek Helio G88 chipset and has a 5,000mAh battery with fast 33W charging, and comes in Sunshower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest colors in two variants: a 6GB memory + 128GB storage and an 8GB+256GB models.

The C55 offers you a box full of treats -- a charging cable with a 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging adapter, a silicone phone case, and a preinstalled screen protector. By the way, the 5,000 mAh battery proved to be enough to juice up 12 hours of civilized use.

An honorable mention: realme C55 storage is expandable via microSD to up to 1 terabyte.

Going back to the 6.72-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution boasting a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 680 nits at 180Hz touch sampling rate, we highly noted the screen's bright with colors rendered above par. It is very responsive, and smooth.

There are still a lot of good things to say about the realme C55, but we're already giving it a big thumbs up.

Like we said, your penny-pinching ways should get you some rare treats. And the realme C55 is truly one of them great finds.
