Eight people were reportedly hurt in a fire that hit a residential area in Las Piñas City on Monday, May 15.
According to the report of the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), four male and four female were injured during the incident.
The victims reportedly suffered dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, and sustained lacerations. They were given immediate treatment.

The BFP said the fire started at a house at Block 3 Lot 16, Durian St., Golden Acres, Annex, Talon Uno, Las Piñas at around 3:12 p.m. The police who responded to the incident said the fire spread from Durian going to Guyabano and Talisay Streets, where most of the houses were made of light materials. Col. Jaime Santos, city police chief, said 50 fire trucks responded to control the fire. Santos said the fire reached the Task Force Alpha alarm at around 4:34 p.m. The BFP reported that the fire was placed under control at around 6:26 p.m. Santos said the affected families were immediately brought to the covered court on Aratiles Street in Talon Singko. He said the BFP has yet to determine the cause and damage cost of the fire.
