TACLOBAN CITY – A suspected drug pusher was killed while 1.5 kilograms of shabu valued at P10.2 million were seized in a buy-bust operation at dawn on Monday, May 15, in Barangay Tambulilid, Ormoc City.
The suspect was identified as Allan Bulahan, a resident of Barangay Linao, Ormoc, and listed as a high-value individual of the Police Regional Office-8 (Eastern Visayas).
Bulahan was apprehended after he sold four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu valued at P100,000 to a police poseur-buyer.
However, Bulahan resisted arrest and fired at arresting lawmen who returned fire and killed the suspect.
Bulahan was taken to the Ormoc District Hospital where he was declared dead.
Recovered from the suspect were plastic sachets containing shabu, including drug paraphernalia, and boodle money.
