2 hurt in freak accident involving trucks in Pasay City

A driver and his companion who responded to help move a stalled 22-wheeler trailer truck were wounded in a freak accident on Monday, May 15. According to the report of the Pasay City police, the victims were identified as Rodrigo Delemus and Angel Banigued. The police said two tow trucks responded at around 11 p.m. on Monday to help move a stalled 22-wheeler trailer truck loaded with coil sheet on Buendia flyover along  Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City that caused heavy traffic in the area. The police said the trailer truck accidentally slid onto the two small tow trucks of Pasay traffic pinning the victims and causing them injuries. The victims were immediately brought to the nearest hospital for treatment. Reports also showed that four plant boxes and a lamp post were damaged during the incident.
