Although Sarah Geronimo's parents, Mommy Divine and Tatay Delfin, were not in attendance during her 20th Anniversary concert last Friday, she still paid tribute to her mom on Mother's Day.

On Instagram, Sarah posted throwback photos with her parents honoring them as her "superheroes."

'Superheroes ng buhay ko.I love you nanay at tatay ko. Happy Mother’s day po mama. Walang hanggan po na pasasalamat para sa walang katumbas na pag-aaruga at pagmamahal," Sarah wrote in the caption.

During her performance of "Habang May Buhay" at the concert, Sarah dedicated the song to her father. Throwback photos appeared on the screen as Sarah held back her tears while performing.

In a now-deleted post from last October, Sarah published a letter to her parents in which she apologized for hurting them with some of her choices.

Although Sarah did not mention any names, it was recalled that her secret marriage with Matteo Guidicelli in 2020 caused a problem with her family.

Since then, Sarah's parents have not appeared in any of her performances, not even at her most recent concert.
