Cong Pimentel greets wife on Mother's Day in the sweetest way possible

The way that Surigao del Sur 2nd district Rep. Johnny Pimentel chose to greet his wife, Lelis, on May 14, Mother's Day, was probably the sweetest. Pimentel patiently waited for his missus to open her eyes on Sunday morning and the first thing that he did was to gift her with a bouquet of flowers and a cake while she was still in bed. Photos shared on Pimentel's Facebook post showed Lelis looking touched and utterly happy with the gesture.

The best part was that she still had a whole day with her loved onea to celebrate her special occasion. Pimentel, a former deputy speaker, is a senior stalwart of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) in the House of Representatives.
