Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital patients receive gifts on Mother's Day
BUTUAN CITY – Lady police officers of the Police Regional Office-13 distributed 60 food packs and hygiene kits to the OB-gyne and pedia ward patients of the Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital here on Mother’s Day.
Most of the recipients were mothers from less-fortunate families.
This gift-giving activity was carried out by personnel of Regional Community Affairs Development Division 13 headed by assistant chief Police Lt. Col. Yeelyne L. Saligumba.
Under the leadership of PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II, his program thrust DADDI includes strengthening police-community relations which is making headway on the ground.
“Although our mothers are recovering from their illness inside the hospital, somehow, they feel the celebration of Mother’s Day through the random act of kindness of our policewomen,” Labra said.
“PNP-Caraga always values our women who do not only care as mothers to their own children but to our community as well,” Labra added.
