Muntinlupa's 10 outstanding students of 2023 honored

Benedict John Caperocho of the Muntinlupa Science High School ranked No. 1 followed by Jose Alvaro Santos of PAREF Southridge School.  Ranking third to fifth are Amos Cruz of South Mansfield College, Cyra Zelene Namit of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School and Michael John Rojo of the Muntinlupa National High School -Main.  Placing sixth to 10th are Gadwin Perseveranda of Muntinlupa Business High School-Sucat Annex, Ma. Andrea Aure of PAREF Woodrose School, Eunice Zeasar Ponteres of Tunasan National High School, Paullene Jherzy Exconde of Muntinlupa Business High School-Main and Ella Roschaine Resurreccion of Southernside Montessori School.  “In its 30 years of implementation, the list of awardees is impressive and prestigious. To be included in the list of MOST nominees alone is an honor in itself. It is a testament to one’s untiring efforts, dedicated perseverance, devotion, and immense desire to achieve something,” said Mayor Ruffy Biazon.  Biazon was joined at the ceremony by Muntinlupa Rep. Jaime Fresnedi, Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac, guest speaker and past MOST awardee Jeffrey Espiritu, the executive director of Omni Aviation, Muntinlupa Scholarship Division (MSD) head Clarence Caballero and councilors.  Each MOST awardee received P10,000 cash incentive from the MSD, P10,000 cash incentive from Fresnedi, plaque of recognition, Award of Excellence medallion, and a scholarship grant worth P30,000 per semester. The winners were chosen based on academic excellence, talent and skills, and contribution to their community.  The Ten Muntinlupa Outstanding Students (MOST) of 2023 are:  RANK 1 - Benedict John R. Caperocho (Muntinlupa Science High School) RANK 2 - Jose Alvaro A. Santos (PAREF Southridge School) RANK 3 - Amos C. Cruz (South Mansfield College) RANK 4 - Cyra Zelene E.
