Master baker arrested for shabu peddling in Quezon

SARIAYA, Quezon – A 38-year-old master baker was arrested and yielded suspected shabu worth P102,408 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Talaan Aplaya here on Saturday, May 13. Police identified the suspect as Jayson Contreras. Contreras yielded 5.02 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P34,136 and a street value of P102,408. Suspect was apprehended based on numerous complaints from the barangay and police validation. He was taken to the Candelaria District Hospital in Candelaria, Quezon for medical and physical examination. Contreras faces drug-related charges.
