Isabela cops rescue 20-year-old man from falling off Magat Bridge

CABATUAN, Isabela – A 20-year-old man was rescued by the police here from falling off the Magat Bridge, report said on Saturday, May 13. Cabatuan police chief Police Major Arturo Cachero said in an interview with a local radio station that concerned citizens saw the man standing on the bridge and immediately called the police who then responded with Rescue Cabatuan. The police tried their best to convince the man from Aurora, Isabela to calm down. Authorities pulled him off the bridge when they had the opportunity. The man told police that he was not able to collect money from borrowers and that he needs money for his wife who was about to give birth.
