Senator Marcos led the distribution of financial assistance to 1,000 beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program conducted at a covered court in Barangay Sto. Nino in the Hagonoy, Bulacan on Friday, May 12.
Marcos was accompanined by Hagonoy Mayor Baby Manlapaz and Vice Mayor Charo Sy-Mendoza during the distribution.
Each of the beneficiaries received P3,000 in financial aid or a total of P3,000,000.

Aside from the AICS payout activity, Marcos also added a P5 million fund for agriculture.
She said Mayor Manlapaz could also ask for a livelihood or a project for agriculture in her office so could they help Bulacan farmers.
The senator added that Hagonoy was loved so much by his late father former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., who was the one who did the electric lines in the coastal villages of Pugad and Tibagin.
The beneficiaries thanked so much Sen. Marcos for remembering them with nutriban bread which was the zeal of her late father.
Senator Marcos said there were many families that were greatly affected in the more than 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic.
After the pandemic, prices of prime commodities also increased which added burdens not only to them but to all Filipinos nationwide, Marcos said.
Meanwhile, Lt. Col. Emmanuel L. Bolina, Hagonoy police chief, personally led the security and safety operations during Senator Marcos's visit to the coastal said town which is under 1-foot flood water due to high tide.
Lt. Col. Bolina was with personnel from the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Special Weapons and Tactics Unit, Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) K9 Unit, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Bureau of Fire Protection, and various radio groups.
