Raps filed vs MILF member, wife caught selling shabu in Maguindanao

COTABATO CITY – Charges for selling illegal drugs were filed against an alleged member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and his wife after they were arrested by anti-narcotics agents in an entrapment operation in Barangay Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte on Friday, May 12. Christian Frivaldo, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region director, identified the suspects as Nassar Amar Abdul, and wife Saida Nguya, residents of Northern Kabuntalan, Maguindanao del Norte. The couple yielded some 100 grams of suspected shabu worth P680,000 during the operation conducted by PDEA operatives and Police Drug Enforcement Group. Authorities said the suspects belong to a local drug network responsible for the distribution of illegal drugs in Maguindanao, Cotabato City, and General Santos City.
