Man accused of raping own child arrested after 14 years of hiding

A man wanted for allegedly raping his own child was collared by authorities in a manhunt operation in Mulanay, Quezon, on Thursday, May 11. Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as alias Isidro, one of Laguna’s most wanted persons who has been hiding for 14 years. The accused was nabbed by Mabitac Municipal Police Station (MPS) and 2nd Laguna Provincial Mobile Force Company operatives by virtue of an arrest warrant issued in October 2009 by Regional Trial Court Branch 33. Alias Isidro is facing an incestuous rape charge without a bail recommended. He is now under the custody of Mabitac MPS.
