Four wanted persons in Central Luzon apprehended

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando City, Pampanga – Four most wanted persons (MWP) in Central Luzon who are facing charges of illegal drugs, illegal recruitment, and rape were arrested during separate operations on Thursday, May 11. The Aurora police manhunt operation in Barangay Borlongan, Dipaculao resulted in the arrest of 27-year-old Arnie Ferreras, No. 1 most wanted person on the municipal level. Ferreras was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. In Nueva Ecija, police arrested the No. 1 most wanted person on the municipal level identified as Bulatao Gaspar, 40, a resident of Barangay Osmeña, Guimba, for rape charges with no recommended bail. In Bataan, police nabbed Eugene Magbanua, 49, resident of Barangay Alasasin, Mariveles, for the crimes of rape by sexual assault and two counts of lascivious conduct. Meanwhile, Marina Cayanan, 59, of Barangay San Manuel, Tarlac City, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of large-scale and syndicated illegal recruitment with no recommended bail.
