Agency asks fans not to send mail to EXO's Kai during military training
The agency of K-pop boy band EXO’s Kai has requested fans not to send mail to him while he is undergoing military training.
Kai enlisted on May 11 at the Army Training Center and is undergoing basic military training before he serves in the alternative service as a social worker (public duty personnel).

On May 12, SM Entertainment, EXO’s agency, issued a notice to ask fans not to send mail to Kai. “With the warm support of EXO-Ls, KAI entered the training center safely. “We are giving EXO-L a notice of cooperation as we think that during the training period, there will be a large amount of internet letters and mails that will be sent to Kai,” it said. It added, “We know very well the feelings of the fans who care about and support Kai, but if a large amount of letters and mails arrive at once in his training center, they will be difficult to store, so loss may occur, and many difficulties in the training center may occur, such as delay in delivery of letters for other trainees due to many printed letters.” “Inevitably, during Kai’s training period, please refrain from using the Internet mail and sending mail as much as possible,” it said. The agency said, “If you want to send a message to Kai, please leave it in the Kai Bubble message or the EXO-L community in the Kwangya Club. We plan to deliver it so that Kai can check it all after the training period so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.” Kai will serve for 21 months and will be discharged on Feb. 10, 2025.
