How do you celebrate Mother’s Day? Perhaps through a thoughtful gift, a yummy meal, or with cakes that say how to best describe her every day... “The Best Ka, Ma”.

For these Pinoy online celebrities and influencers, celebrating moms needs no special date or occasion. It can be done every day. The Goldilocks’ Mother’s Day campaign stormed our screens with different stories that tell how our mama is the best in all ways.

Content creator AC Soriano, popularly known as @itsaclife on Tiktok, took a route that he is known best for in order to show his appreciation for his mother. He used Pinoy pop culture, specifically an iconic film character known by Pinoy netizens for being her mother’s favorite.

“The best ka Ma kasi, kahit marami kang options in life, kami pa rin ang priority mo,” AC wrote.

In his Tiktok video, he said, in character, holding Goldilocks’ new cake offering, the Mango Dream: “Kahit na nagkaroon ng crisis sa Spain at isa ako sa mga teachers na natanggal dahil hindi naman talaga ako magaling, okay lang sa yo… Kaya ngayong Mother’s Day, gusto naming iparamdam sa iyo na the best ka, Ma.”

Instagram creator Charlize Ruth also posted a video reenacting how her mother sometimes shows tough love to her—through nagging their kids for losing items at home or scolding them for not turning off electrical appliances, for instance. But as she exhibited in her video, Charlize understands that this is just a mother’s unique way of expressing care and concern. And as in Charlize’s case, she reciprocates this care through giving her mom sweet gifts such as the Goldilocks’ Mom’s Choco Cake.

Radio DJ and events host Show Suzuki, meanwhile, demonstrates how a mother’s love is all-encompassing. A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Show responds to a follower who asks: “Okay lang ba talaga sa mommy mo na bakla ka?” But instead of answering the question himself, Show lets his mother do the talking. “Syempre! Wala akong pakialam kung gay, bi, or straight,” she says in Japanese.

Then she quips, “Basta lagi mo akong ilibre.” In response, Show whips out a Goldilocks Mango Dream. “Happy Mother’s Day sa lahat ng nanay na tinatanggap tayo ng buong-buo at lagi tayong sinusuportahan sa lahat ng endeavors natin. Basta may libreng Goldilocks cake! Char,” he said. 

And the moms themselves took to social media, too. Sharing their real stories of how receiving love on Mother’s Day and any day, these mothers show how important and how much they appreciate these gestures of gratitude are for them—especially with everything they do for their children and their family every day. Mommy content creator Champagne Abulencia or Momshi Talks on Facebook shares that she gave birth to her daughter Aellaeisha when she was still studying, “We may have encountered so many struggles in life being a parent but we are thankful to have an angel sent from above to make us realize how important life is,” she wrote. 

With this, she added: “We deserve some sweets and the reward of our hardships. The best ka Ka, the best tayong mga inay na gagawin ang lahat for our family.”

Des Calayag-de Vera also wrote on Facebook: “May kasabihan nga, being a Mom has made us so tired, and so HAPPY. After a long day, napakasarap lang na marinig yung katagang ‘The Best ka, Mommy.’ Sapat na yun para bumangon ka uli kinabukasan at gampanan ang pagiging Ina. “
