LTO-7 set to bring services closer to Boholanos through 'caravan'
CEBU CITY – Vehicle registration, application, or renewal of driver’s license and other services will be more accessible when the Land Transportation Office-Central Visayas (LTO-7) holds a caravan of services in the province of Bohol.

The LTO-7 has agreed to bring its services closer to Boholanos when the agency’s regional director Victor Emmanuel Caindec and Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado recently met.
“Yes, I spoke to Gov. Eric Aris Aumentado about our Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) and ePatrol program to be launched on a much larger scale across Bohol province,” said Caindec.
“The LTO-7 has committed to this endeavor and preparations are underway for the launch,” added Caindec.
Aumentado also met this week with LTO-Tagbilaran head Yvonne Auza and Releasing Officer Rechie Prima to discuss the matter.
“We asked them to hold a caravan of LTO services like registration, renewal of registration and driver’s licenses in various towns in Bohol. This will help address concerns of the Boholanos in relation to services being offered by LTO,” Aumentado said.
Aumentado said the province’s campaign against unregistered or colorum public utility vehicles was also discussed.
The plan to hold a caravan of LTO services came after the agency conducted a five-day random roadworthiness inspection in various areas in Bohol.
Last month’s random road inspections led to at least 400 apprehensions in Tagbilaran City and in municipalities of Loon, Baclayon, Alburquerque, Jagna, Dauis, Panglao, Danao, and Talibon.
At least 335 electronic temporary operator’s permits (e-TOP) were issued and 135 vehicles were also impounded for various violations.
Violations during the apprehensions included driving without a valid license, driving an unregistered vehicle or with an expired registration.
