Young man yields P54,000 worth of shabu in Bacolod drug sting

BACOLOD CITY – A young man was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Kingfisher A, Barangay 16, here, on Monday, May 8. The policemen found eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400 in the possession of Bryan Dequeña, 22, of Barangay 16. Police Major Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 1, said the suspect is a newly identified individual. His sibling was also previously arrested for a drug offense and is still in jail, according to Bonilla. Dequeña is detained at the police station and awaiting the filing of drug charges.
