Fire hits business establishment in Muntinlupa

A fire hit a business establishment in Muntinlupa on May 9, damaging P40,000 worth of properties.  According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the fire happened at Remenes Center along National Road in Barangay Putatan at about 12:28 p.m.  The fire at Remenes Center in Muntinlupa on May 9 (Photos from Muntinlupa City Fire Station, Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management)

The fire originated from a rectifier in an electrical room occupied by Edotco Tower. The first alarm was raised at 12:34 p.m. and the fire was put out at 12:46 p.m.  No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.  A total of seven fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the incident.
