The Bulacan Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Office (PDRRMO) released a thunderstorm advisory on Wednesday, May 10, cautioning residents about thunderstorms and strong winds.
The PDRRMO reported that moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over the towns of San Rafael, Pulilan, Plaridel, Bustos, Pandi, Guiguinto, Calumpit, Balagtas, as well as the cities of Baliuag and Malolos, which may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.
The weather conditions are being experienced in Metro Manila; Marikina, Pasig; Rizal, Antipolo, Cainta, Taytay; Zambales in Botolan, San Marcelino, Cabangan, SanFelipe; Bataan in Abucay, Balanga, Orion, Limay, Mariveles, and Bagac.
The areas of Tarlac at Camiling, Anao, Moncada, Paniqui, Ramos, Pura, Gerona, and Concepcion; In Nueva Ecija at Cuyapo, Nampicuan, Carranglan, Lupao, Talugtug; Cavite in Maragondon, Magallanes, and Ternate; Batangas in Nasugbu, and Tuy, Lian; and Pampanga are also experiencing the same weather condition.
All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides, the PDRRMO said.
