Bacolod cops nab 57 drug pushers, seize P2.2-M worth of illegal drugs in April
BACOLOD CITY – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized 334.5279 grams of illegal drugs worth P2,274,789.82 here from April 1 to 31.
Based on the data provided by the city police force, 50 police operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 57 drug personalities, including seven high-value individuals (HVI), five newly identified individuals, and 45 street-level individuals (SLI).
A total of 61 cases were filed in court for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In the campaign against all forms of illegal gambling, the BCPO conducted 26 police operations that led to the apprehension of 98 individuals.
Also, the BCPO arrested 55 wanted persons during its month-long intensified police operations.
This included 14 most wanted persons, and 41 other wanted persons, who were all charged with various offenses.
