Tricycle driver shot dead in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A 33-year-old tricycle driver was gunned down by unidentified gunmen onboard a motorcycle in Purok Happy Valley, Barangay Ibabang Dupay, this city, on Sunday night, April 30. Police said the victim, Randy Baldonado, a resident of Barangay Ibabang Dupay, was driving his tricycle on the Maharlika Highway towards the city proper when suspects riding a pink motorcycle appeared and shot him. Baldonado died on the spot due to multiple bullet wounds. Police recovered five cartridge cases and the Quezon Provincial Forensic Unit processed the crime scene. Lawmen are thoroughly investigating the case.
