Minor dies, 3 others hurt in Quezon motorcycle crash

SAN NARCISO, Quezon – A minor died and his three companions were injured when their motorcycle plunged into a canal in Barangay Vigo here on Sunday, April 30. Police said driver Jerry Lutchavez, a 23-year-old farmer, suddenly lost control of the motorcycle while traversing a descending curved portion of the San Narciso-San Andres Road and plunged into a canal. Lutchavez and his back riders, two of them also minors, were taken to the municipal hospital here. However, one of them perished while being treated for serious injuries. Victims were not wearing helmets when the accident happened, police said.
