Man drowns in Magat River in Isabela

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – A man drowned while taking a bath in the Magat River in Barangay Bagong Silang, San Mateo, Isabela on Sunday, April 30. Police identified the victim as Moises Dumlao, 36, of Barangay Bagong Silang. Investigation said the victim decided to take a bath in the river after a drinking session during a picnic with family. Dumlao went missing after a few minutes and his relatives sought the help of barangay officials who recovered the victim’s body after a half hour search. Responders rushed the victim to the where he was declared dead by the attending physician.
