Man accused of statutory rape nabbed in Naic, Cavite

CAVITE – A man accused of statutory rape was arrested in the Municipality of Naic on Saturday, April 29. The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as Mark David De Ocampo, 36 years old. After close monitoring and surveillance, Naic Municipal Police Station (MPS) operatives collared De Ocampo by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 132, Fourth Judicial Region in Naic, for statutory rape with no bail recommended. The suspect is now under the custody of Naic MPS. In a statement, Cavite PPO Director Col. Christopher Olazo commended the operatives for their unwavering effort to hunt down people with existing arrest warrants.
