Human remains dumped in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – Human remains were found on the Economic Highway in Hacienda Sayson, Barangay Felisa here on Sunday, April 30. Police Major Richard Fajarito, head of Police Station 10, said that human skeletons and a sack containing a decomposing body were found inside a concrete pipe. Fajarito said that a minor playing in the area discovered them. He said the cadavers might have there for more than a week already. Fajarito said they have coordinated with the La Castellana Municipal Police Station in Negros Occidental to check if these were those of two residents kidnapped in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on April 19. He said they have encouraged the families of the kidnap victims to request  a DNA examination to find out their identities.
