2 senior high students in Batangas killed in motorcycle crash

CUENCA, Batangas – Two senior high school students died and another was injured when their motorcycle crashed into a trailer truck in Barangay Dita, this town, on Sunday night, April 30. Police identified the fatalities as Cuenca residents John Paul Mistiola, 19; and Oswill James Magpantay, 16. Investigation said the victims’ motorcycle overtook a vehicle in front and accidentally rammed into the trailer truck driven by Mark Fabella, 30, of Parañaque City. One of the back riders went under the trailer truck while Russel, 17, the motorcycle driver and a Cuenca resident, and the other back rider thrown on the road. They were taken to the Marasigan District Hospital where Mistiola and Magpantay were declared dead. Russel sustained injuries in the body. Fabella was taken into custody by the police.
