2 dead, 1 hurt in motorcycle collision in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – Two men died and a back rider was injured when their motorcycles collided head-on on the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Masin Sur here before dawn on Easter Sunday. Police identified the victims as Boyet Paderon Marquez and Ardy Advincula Medina. Investigation said Marquez was driving his Rusi motorcycle when he suddenly crashed into Medina who was on board a Kawasaki Rouser. Marquez's back rider, Manuel Paderon Paña Jr., 39, was injured. Victims were taken to by responders to the Peter Paul Medical Center of Candelaria Inc. but were pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician. Paña was brought to the Candelaria District Hospital. The victims’ bodies are presently in the hospital for post-mortem examination.
