Rocco Nacino now part of Philippine Navy's elite NAVSOCOM
Rocco Nacino was recently awarded an honorary membership in the Naval Special Operations Command (NAVSOCOM).
On Instagram, the Kapuso actor uploaded behind-the-scenes photos taken at the ceremony.
He shared in the caption: "Receiving the Parangal sa Kapanalig ng Sandatahang Lakas Ng Pilipinas Medal and Ribbon."
According to him, it's a "huge honor" to be recognized for their efforts through the Civil-Military Operations (CMO) activities with his unit, Naval Reserve Public Affairs Unit (NRPAU).
"This will serve as motivation to me and my comrades to continue our efforts as reservists in serving our country," he related.
Rocco then expressed gratitude to his wife, athlete Melissa Gohing - whom he deemed as "aking commander ng buhay ko" - for witnessing his special day. "Proud to be a Navy Seal. Para sa Pilipinas, Hooyahh!," he ended. In another post, he reiterated how he's "thankful" for the many "humbling lessons" he has learned throughout the years. "2LT Enrico Raphael Q. Nacino, RN, MAN, Nurse Corp, AFPRESCOM, Navsocom Honorary Member," he said. "From Descendants of the Sun Ph, to Joining the Philippine Navy as a Reservist, to being an honorary member of our Naval Special Operations Command (Navy Seals)."
