Here's Arroyo's advance Easter Sunday message for Pinoys

House Senior Deputy Speaker and former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is enjoining fellow Filipinos to reaffirm their faith in Jesus Christ. This was the gist of Arroyo's advanced message to her countrymen for Easter Sunday, April 9. "Just like past Easter Sundays, let us, Christians, regard this Easter as the time to reaffirm our faith in Jesus Christ and our conviction that believers who follow His example, will be 'born again to a living hope', just as the Holy Bible says in 1stÂ Peter 1:3," she said in a message sent to House of Representatives reporters on Black Saturday, April 8. "I wish every Filipino a blessed and faith-filled Easter Sunday!!!" added Arroyo. Arroyo is on her first term in her second round as Pampanga 2nd district representative. She had served three three-year terms from 2010 to 2019. She is also a former House Speaker.
