Bohol governor holds caravan services, distributes financial aid to different barangays


CEBU CITY – Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado distributed financial assistance to various barangays in the province during the caravan of services before the Holy Week break.

Barangays Cambangay and Capayas in San Miguel town each received P50,000 to fund their respective projects.
Barangay Malitbog in Dagohoy town also received P15,000 in financial assistance.

Aumentado also turned over P90,000 to Barangay Hinalayagan, Trinidad and P300,000 to Barangay Cabigohan in the same town.

Kinan-oan, another barangay in Trinidad, also received P145,000 to fund its Barangay Day celebration.

Aumentado also went to Bien Unido town where he turned over P200,000 to Barangay Mandawa and P399,000 to Barangay Liberty.

The governor also spearheaded the conduct of a medical mission in Inabanga town.

In Barangay San Ramon, Sagbayan, Aumentado and his wife, Bohol Rep. Vanessa Aumentado, led the distribution of food packs, school supplies, and financial assistance.

Through the Local Government Affairs and various offices of the province, a total of 1,278 residents from five barangays in the town received food packs.

Also, 124 students from the San Ramon Elementary School received school supplies.

The Office of the Provincial Veterinarian also conducted milk-feeding for hundreds of children in the town.

At least 525 residents were also able to avail of free circumcision and dental services through the Medical Outreach Unit and Provincial Health Office.

Aumentado also turned over P115,000 for the Foundation Day celebration of Barangay Canmaya Centro and another P43,400 for the street-lighting project of Barangay Canmaya Diot.

Rep. Aumentado said that the goal of the barangay visitation dubbed as “Abante Caravan” is to bring the provincial government closer to the people.
