Thousands visit Kamay ni Jesus healing church in Quezon


LUCBAN, Quezon – Thousands of people visited the Kamay ni Hesus healing church in Barangay Tinamnan, this town, this Holy Week, starting on Holy Monday and peaking on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Kamay ni Jesus is famous for its 300-step climb to the 50-foot statue of the Risen Christ which is considered as the world’s third tallest Risen Christ statue.

It was built in February 2002 with the help of the people of the province and donors from the United States.

A donor, Fr. Joey Faller, shared the money he inherited from his family build the church.

The local government and shrine administrators implemented measures to secure visitors at the church in collaboration with responders, police, and volunteers.
