Man stabs father to death on Maundy Thursday in Quezon

SARIAYA, Quezon – A 74-year-old driver was stabbed to death by his son during a heated argument on Maundy Thursday in Sitio Balete Ilaya, Barangay Sampaloc 2, here. Police identified the victim as Federico Bocacao. The victim’s five-year-old grandson told police that his uncle,  Alvin Bocacao, 38, arrived and had a heated argument with his grandfather over an undisclosed matter. The boy said that his uncle stabbed his grandfather several times in the body. The suspect fled while the victim was taken to the Lucena United Doctors Hospital in Lucena City where he was declared dead on arrival at 11:20 a.m. Police are pursuing the suspect.
